Should you have any queries during your stay, from where the best place to eat is to how the shower works, we’re always happy to help you at reception!
During your stay you are welcome to enjoy our three-acre recreational field, whether this be for games, walks, or even to hire a bouncy castle to entertain the little ones – this really is a place for you to make your own.
We have recently renovated one of our outbuildings to make a beautiful area where our guests can enjoy spending time together outside, regardless of the weather. Why not enjoy a family picnic or BBQ whilst the little ones enjoy the adjacent play area…
We have a beautiful scenic walk that you can take your little ones or your furry friends on!
As well as our fully grown orchard, we also have a much more recently planted orchard, which offers tremendous views as well as a calming place to take an evening walk.
We may be biased but we believe that the views from our orchard are hard to beat! Relax and recharge at one of our picnic areas or enjoy a little peace and quiet whilst admiring the scenery from our hammock!
Granary Cottage is a spacious and bright holiday cottage comprising of three bedrooms, two living spaces with a bathroom on each floor.
Sleeping up to seven people the cottage is fantastic for larger families or groups wanting to explore the North Yorkshire Dales.
Ploughman’s Cottage is a cosy single storey holiday cottage perfect for a couple wanting a relaxing break. Set around our idyllic courtyard with our other cottages, Ploughman’s Cottage is a great place to relax or go out and explore what the countryside has to offer.
The house where Lisa and Phil live, this is private property and is not open to guests.
Orchard Cottage is a ground floor, single story dwelling and is ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside. Cosy, yet spacious, this beautiful cottage is set around our idyllic courtyard with its own private patio area where you can enjoy your morning coffee before heading out to explore the beautiful countryside and local attractions.
Farriers Cottage is an ideal holiday cottage for friends or family to get together. Overlooking our garden courtyard Farriers Cottage is a great place to spend some time relaxing amongst the tranquil countryside.
Millers Cottage is a fabulously quirky upside down detached holiday cottage. With a patio to the side and looking out over the fields, the cottage is a popular choice with families looking for a spacious accommodation.
We have a beautiful pond and nature reserve onsite, where our ducks and chickens often like to gather!
You are most welcome to enjoy our well stocked lending library of DVDs, games, and books. We are constantly adding to the shelves, and we try to cater for all ages and interests.
There is also an onsite laundry room, which is available for all visitors during their stay.
Our camping guests can enjoy the newly refurbished shower and toilet facilities…

We have electric pitches for both caravans/motorhomes and tents…
We have a number of free range chickens and ducks on our land, who are always more than happy to be fed!
We have some quoits pits on the grounds should you feel in the mood for a game!

These were hand carved by Phil onsite from trees which have been long present at Osprey Meadow.
There is so much to keep the little ones entertained during your visit, including a large play area boasting swings and a slide, trampoline, rope swing, and many outdoor games for you to enjoy.
Enjoy the various outside areas with our outdoor seating, perfect for a relaxing snack or for just taking in the nature.
You will enter our site off the B6285 – there is clear signage to both the camping field and holiday cottages…
Protecting our precious environment is paramount to us, and to this end we have installed electric car charging points for guests to use, free of charge!
